Palliative Care

Palliative Care

Support and comfort at the end of life

Palliative care is a holistic approach that supports the whole person — not just their medical condition. At St Agatha Care, we introduce experienced, compassionate self-employed carers who are able to support clients facing life-limiting illness with dignity, respect, and understanding.

The carers we introduce focus on improving quality of life by providing support with pain management, symptom relief, and emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Each care arrangement is personalised to reflect the individual's values, wishes, and daily routines.

Our role as an introductory agency is to match clients with carers who are not only qualified and experienced in palliative care, but who also have a genuine passion for providing comfort and reassurance at a profoundly important time. Whether support is needed occasionally or around the clock, these carers work with empathy and professionalism to ensure the best possible experience for both clients and their families.

Imogen's Story:

A transforming experience

“Thank you for your help over the last few weeks. You were so kind to come up with a solution for us at such short notice. It was genuinely transforming. It meant that we were all confident that my mother was well looked after when she came out of hospital and the kind, gentle, responsible, accommodating spirit of all the carers who came was so what my mother wanted. They are a wonderful group of people.”
